Ford is 3 Months Today!

I can't believe that Ford is already 3 months. He is almost 15lbs and growing fast. Lately he has been trying so hard to roll over. If only his head was a little lighter. It is just amazing how wonderful it has been to have him in our life.

Ford is Here!

Ford arrived on April 27, 2010 at 9;25 AM. He was 7lbs. and 4 oz. and 21 in. long. It was love at first sight. He was beautiful. I can't believe how much I love him.

35 Weeks

Yesterday was my first 1 week appointment. I was a little nervous, but excited to find out how Ford was doing. I am not dilated yet, which was good news, but he is head down. I think he has been this way for a few weeks because his feet get caught under my rib cage and make it hard for me to bend over. Everything is going well, but of course I am trying to tie up all of my loose ends. We have the car seat ready to go and I am in the process of packing my bag and washing all of his stuff. Such a job! We have had some wonderful showers so far and one more to go. My sweet room mother from last year is throwing us a shower on April 11th. I am really excited to see all of my students from last year and years past! I will go back to the doctor next Tuesday and we'll see what she says then.

Week 32

Only 8 more weeks until Ford arrives. We got several things accomplished this past weekend and Adam is planning on finishing the room on Tuesday. When the chair comes in that we've ordered, it should be nearly complete. I found the cutest picture frame at Home Goods for only 6 dollars. I am getting Sherry Averitt to paint some pictures of our dogs for his room. I am really excited about these. I think they will complete the room so nicely. She paints the most beautiful pictures. Her website is sherryaveritt.com. I am thinking that we will have one of each of the dogs faces to go above the bed. I want him to have something that he can use for a while. I'm also working on picking out birth annoucements. Leane Randle is going to make them for me. She was my room mom a few years ago. It's so hard to make a decision about the design, though. I'm looking forward to Spring Break so that I can mark some more items off my list. The time is going by so fast and I feel like I have SO much to do!!! I can't wait to meet him!!!

30 Weeks

I can't believe that I am already 30 weeks. The time has gone by very fast. Ford has really been kicking lately. I think he is going to be a strong boy. We are working on his room and trying to get everything situated before he gets here. His rug came in and the room is starting to look pulled together. I can't wait to see him and get to hold him in my arm.

Coming Along

I am now 26 weeks and growing everyday it feels like. Ford is moving up a storm and keeps me going. I have been feeling pretty good, but my back pain has set in. Going to the chiropracter has helped, but I think part of it is just growing. He sits on my right side and digs in to me. I love every minute of it though.

25 Today!

This is my 25th week of pregnancy and it has been a busy weekend. On Friday I came home to find that our house had been broken into during the day. Thankfully, they only took our tv from downstairs. We were so blessed that it was not any worse. I think this kind of stressed me ot and added to my recent back pain. I am excited to go to the chiropractor tomorrow or some relief! Ford is still moving and shaking. He wakes me every morning! It's a wonderful feeling.

24 Weeks Ultrasound

Week 24

Time is going by so fast for our family. We still have lots to do, to get ready for Ford. He is moving around all the time and staying busy. I can only imagine how active he will be when he is born. Adam has really enjoyed being able to feel him jump and kick. Adam got me an embroidery machine after Christmas and I have been having so much fun learning how to monogram stuff for Ford. In a few weeks, I will start taking orders for monograms and appliques. I'm trying to teach myself how to sew pants. We'll see how that goes : )

Waiting on Ford

I am nearly 23 weeks. Only about 4 more months to go until we get to meet baby Ford. Over the past few weeks I have begun feeling Ford moving. Yesterday, Adam was able to feel Ford kick. We will go for another ultrasound on January 12th. We weren't able to see his face last time, so we to see him again. I ordered his bedding from Restoration Hardware and we found the paint this week. Adam will probably paint the room and furniture over the next few weeks. We're really excited to get everything ready for Ford. There is SO much to do!
